HOW DOES FOXTRAIL WORK?
Teams of 2-6 people start out on their own. Equipped with the starting material received by e-mail and mobile phone, the search for traces left by the fox begins. Teamwork is essential when trying to understand and solve clues to find the next stage.
HOW LONG BEFORE YOU CAN BOOK FOXTRAIL?
You can book up to 5 minutes before departure, unless you have special requests that must have time to be managed and organized.
HOW CAN I RECOGNIZE THE STATIONS?
From a sign on an interesting building to a fun device or a unique object, from which you need to creatively understand the message. What you will certainly not miss is our green color and the footsteps of the fox that will make you understand that you are in the right place!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothing according to the weather and suitable and comfortable shoes (sneakers, low shoes with a good sole).
IS FOXTRAIL AN EVENT SUITABLE FOR ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS?
Yes, Foxtrail can take place regardless of weather conditions.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR THE FOXTRAIL ROUTE?
You must remember to bring with you the documents sent by email at the time of booking, a mobile phone with internet connection and the desire to discover while having fun.
ARE THERE ANY DIFFERENT PREREQUISITES DEPENDING ON THE ROUTE?
The effort required is similar in all routes. Anyone who is able to cope with a walk that varies from hour and a half to two and a half hours can try our routes; what is required, rather, is mental readiness: a little ‘head and teamwork will be essential.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MODIFY THE BOOKING BY DATE-TIME- NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS?
You can change the date and time up to 12 hours before the booking, by phone contact. You can not request a refund but, if you do not know when you want to rebook, we will issue a voucher to enjoy the experience at a later date. For companies, please refer to the Terms & Conditions.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACTIVATE AN EXPIRED VOUCHER?
Vouchers purchased online (gift card) are valid for 6 months from the time of purchase. Vouchers purchased offline or at our resale points have an expiry date shown on the voucher but generally between 6 months and one year. In case of expiration, vouchers can no longer be redeemed.
YOU WANT TO USE FOXTRAIL TO END A CORPORATE SEMINAR?
Many companies, national and international, have already used Foxtrail to conclude workshops or seminars. Participants will have the opportunity to move around in the open air divided into different teams and to have fun all together, engaging in an activity completely different from the seminars, usually mentally challenging. The Foxtrail team will be available to answer any questions related to the programming of the experience and related activities.
HOW DOES THE START WORK?
You will need to go to the address indicated in the confirmation email at the scheduled time and send a message to the number indicated with the booking code that you will find on the documents that have been sent to you. Please read the instructions on the booking confirmation email!
WHO CREATES THE TEAMS IN GROUP BOOKINGS? PARTICIPANTS OR FOXTRAIL?
Participants can be divided into any number of teams, but with a maximum of 6 participants per team. If it is a corporate event, we recommend a random team division. This promotes team spirit and better knowledge outside the company, teaches how to work together and, in international companies, brings together different nationalities.
WHO DETERMINES WHEN AND WHICH TEAM STARTS?
The start times and all important information are given in the start material, the teams will leave 15 minutes apart.
HOW MUCH TIME IS NORMALLY NEEDED TO COMPLETE A SHORT PATH ASSUMING FOR EXAMPLE A GROUP OF 50 PEOPLE?
For our routes we estimate an average duration of 1.5 hours, with departures every 15 minutes (but can also be reduced to 10 minutes for corporate events). We have 2 routes available that can be booked in parallel so assuming you can start about 6 teams of 6 people per hour for each route. Total we can manage groups of about 70 people for an experience of a total duration of about 2.5 hours.
HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE IN TIME DO THE TEAMS HAVE IN GETTING TO THE GOAL? WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM DURATION?
This is difficult to predict. Each team has its own rhythm and dynamics. Time can also be a determining factor. In good weather, it can happen that a team takes a break in an outdoor bar. Teams can manage their own time. For short routes, a maximum of 2 hours is usually required. In the case of large groups, the Foxtrail team will prepare a timetable.
IS THERE A SPECIFIC MEETING POINT FOR THE START?
The meeting point is the address that you will find in the confirmation email after making your reservation.
WHERE IS THE META?
The final stage is obviously not revealed, but it is usually about places from which you can return to the starting point with a short walk or with a public transport.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR CHILDREN?
All children are welcome! We recommend, however, the minimum age of 7-8 years to make them participants and protagonists of this experience
FROM WHAT AGE DO CHILDREN HAVE TO PAY?
From 8 years old to 12 years old, children pay for the reduced ticket. From the age of 13 you pay as an adult.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE A FOXTRAIL ROUTE WITH A WHEELCHAIR?
Our route BORGHESE DREAMERS is also designed for people with disabilities or wheelchairs as long as they tell us before so we can handle a small change of route.
CAN YOU TAKE YOUR STROLLER?
BORGHESE DREAMERS is also suitable for those who need to carry the stroller. In the TRASTEVERE REVOLUTION path there are some stairs.
HOW AND WHERE DO YOU PAY FOXTRAIL?
Foxtrail you pay online when booking on the website by credit card, paypal and bank transfer. Or by purchasing vouchers through authorized retailers. Vouchers can be redeemed online and then used as a replacement for payment systems at the end of the booking process.
HOW CAN I CHANGE A RESERVATION I HAVE ALREADY MADE?
By contacting the Foxtrail team you can change your reservation up to 12 hours before departure.
IS PUBLIC TRANSPORT INCLUDED?
Our routes are completely on foot so public transport is not included.
IF WE ARE MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE WE CAN STILL BOOK ONLINE?
If you are more than six people there are no problems you can book more slots later (if they are free of course) and then accumulate all bookings in the same “cart” of purchase in order to make a single payment at the end.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A PROVISIONAL RESERVATION?
No. Departure times will be reserved as soon as we receive your booking confirmation.
WHEN IS IT NECESSARY TO MAKE A FINAL RESERVATION FOR LARGE GROUPS (E.G. 70 PEOPLE)?
Generally for large groups we ask you to confirm within 8 days of the event.
WHAT IS THE FINAL APERITIF? WHAT INCLUDES?
As teams arrive at their destination at different times , the final aperitif (Foxtrail Plus) is an ideal meeting point after arriving at the final stages. It is the ideal way to end the event, whether it is a family excursion or an excursion with your company. From experience, we know that during the aperitif there is an excellent atmosphere of exchange within the group and between the different teams. This contributes significantly to the sustainability of the event itself. Our regional gastronomic staff will cook something delicious and seasonal for our Foxtrail customers. This includes a delicious snack and drink per person, such as beer, wine, juices, soft drinks and so on.
IF I HAVE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION I HAVE ALREADY MADE, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE REPLACEMENT VOUCHERS?
The vouchers will be sent by email by our staff as soon as we come in contact for any changes.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY A VOUCHER FOR A FAMILY TICKET?
Yes, for families there are special discounted tickets for 2 adults and 2 children and also online and offline vouchers for families.
I GOT A FOXTRAIL VOUCHER FOR TWO PEOPLE. CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON?
Yes, you just need to book the desired route, indicating all the people who will participate. By entering the voucher codes, the exact amount corresponding to the vouchers available will be redeemed automatically. Any additional participants in the same slot can be paid with a normal online payment transaction.
ARE THERE ANY DOCUMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
You can receive the documentation in 2 languages (Italian, English) but soon we intend to provide instructions in Spanish, French and German), be careful, however, the clues scattered throughout the path are only in Italian and English.
